The Corner Brook Minor Soccer Association is excited to announce that registration for its 2021 summer session will open on Friday, June 4. The summer session will run for 11 weeks from June 14 to Aug. 27. Children MUST be registered before their first session and attendance will be taken. Due to a special ceremony being hosted by the City of Corner Brook on the Wellington Complex on Tuesday, June 1, the U11, U9 and U17 sessions scheduled for that day will now be moved to Tuesday, June 8.
On Wednesday, the Corner Brook Minor Soccer Association (CBMSA) decided to cancel its sessions. This was done out of an abundance of caution and followed a decision by the Corner Brook Baseball Association to shut down its program until May 24. The City of Corner Brook has decided to postpone the dedication ceremony that had been scheduled to take place this evening to officially name the Wellington Street Complex in honour of Doug Sweetapple.
