How do I register?

Register online at https://www.rampregistrations.com/login?v3=27a2b351a4. Payments can be made by credit card or Visa/Mastercard Debit.


What happens if my child is placed on the waitlist?

We will be monitoring the wait list daily and you will be notified if space becomes available for your child.


Is there any financial assistance available?

Financial assistance for qualifying participants is available through the Jump Start program - https://jumpstart.canadiantire.ca/pages/individual-child-grants.
Once you complete a Jumpstart application you will be receive a code that you will have to provide to us.
Financial assistance is also available through KidSport NL - https://www.kidsportcanada.ca/newfoundland-and-labrador/apply-for-assistance/
Please contact us once you apply for this program and let us know your program of choice. Kidsport will
contact CBUSC directly with approval. Once approval is received CBUSC will contact you and register
your child for the approved program


My child is in the U3 program, is there anything I should know?

Our U3 program involves the participation of one parent/guardian. Therefore, each U3 child must be accompanied on the field by one parent/guardian at all times.


What if there are schedule changes or cancellations?

You will be informed of these through our website, Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/CornerBrookMinorSoccer/ and Twitter, https://twitter.com/home, accounts and through email if you sign up for notifications during registration.
We play in the rain and will only cancel in the case of thunder and lightning.


What age category should I register my child in?

For 2025 the age categories are:
U3 - Born in 2022
U5 - Born in 2020 or 2021
U7 - Born in 2018 or 2019
U9 - Born in 2016 or 2017
U11 - Born in 2014 or 2015
U13 - Born in 2012 or 2013
U15 - Born in 2010 or 2011
U17- Born in 2008 or 2009
Child must register in the category that corresponds to their year of birth.


What equipment is my child required to have?

All players are required to have cleats, shin guards and soccer socks in order to participate in all levels of our program. Children who show up to any of our fields without the proper equipment will not be allowed to participate. During our indoor winter season players can wear indoor soccer shoes/cleats or regular sneakers.


Does my child have to attend both the daytime and evening sessions in the summer program?

No, which sessions your child attends is totally up to you. For age groups U7 and up there is an extra daytime session offered each week at no extra charge, but players are not required to attend.
